About Julia Donnelly

Julia Donnelly has a degree in Pharmacy and PhD in Pharmaceutical Microbiology.

Following registration as a pharmacist and a locum assignment as a clinical pharmacist, Julia was employed as a Medical Information Officer within the Pharmaceutical Industry for 3 years. For the next 12 years she worked for Complete Medical Communications, starting as a Medical Writer and progressing as a Project Leader, Editorial Director, Technical Director and Training, Resource and Development Director.

In 2003, Julia set up her company, Julia Donnelly Solutions Ltd, to provide writing, project management, editorial management and training services. Her company has been successful in delivering these services in a range of settings to clients ranging from small Communication Agencies to large Pharmaceutical Companies.

Julia has been an active member of the European Medical Writer's Association (EMWA.org) since 1998 and served as President between 2014 and 2015. Julia also runs a Medical Writing Module on the Pharmaceutical Industry Advanced Training (PIAT) course at Manchester University).
